So. I´ve been thinking. Yeah figure that one out. Me doing some of that. Never thought it would happen did you. Well it did punk so live with it.

Yeah, anyways. I don´t know why exactly but I have pondering over the mask. The movie that is, not some random mask thingy I keep in my locked closet. Which I don´t. You have no prove of that you sick bastard.

Errm. You see now I was thinking about what Stanley Ipkiss (Jim Carrey for those of you not in the know) said about the properties of the mask. For those like him, innocent kinda peaceloving yet not fruits. They turn into hopeless romantics and suave characters. Those that are already insane become fiercer and more brutal. They can do anything they want and won´t hesitate to use any means neccesary.

What does this tell us. How do people change when they drink alcohol for example. Are the easygoing sort of shy people turned into the most suave, cool (in their opinions) persons around. They can do anything but within reasonable limits. The more aggressive types will react in outrage and can´t start having fun until someone gets beaten.

Is there any connection between the Mask and alcohol. Not directly. The producers were not drinking whilst making the movie, maybe the script but not the movie in itself. So what I think the mask represents is more of an outtake of the reactions from people after consuming alcohol. You may think you are invincible when you are drunk and that is exactly what happens with the mask. When it is put on you become your inner man (or woman) Stanley turned into this smooth, suave (man I love that word) cool guy whilst on the outside he was a borderline geek. All he needed were the specs and he would have been there. Dorian turned into himself basically but with more powers. His outside just reflected his inner man. Now the little mutt turned into a raging ball of teeth. Because inside the dog wanted to be frightening with freakishly large teeth.

Well, something brand new for the act. My LJ updater has changed in appearance I see. Anywho just a quick log.

The guitar thing is back on. Went last week to play blues with my uncle. We were playing a solo by Taj Mahal and his Phantom Blues band. Man did my fingers ache after that. It was a whole lot of fun though. Unfortunately he went to Sweden this week so no playing together for at least a week now which really sucks.

Well, Jon and I are thinking about starting up a Warhammer army. Could be a lot of fun. Probably takes fucking forever to paint all of it but should be rewarding in the end. I wonder when I will have time to play. I guess in my christmas holiday. Two weeks time off then. I´m not going to work, just relaxing after the exams.

Yeah for you other people I am not celebrating my 21st birthday. I do not see any reason to do so. IT IS NOT IMPORTANT. And besides its on monday so how great can it get. Thats final. No buffet for you. We dryclean now. Give jacket, ready friday....It says grand opening pal.

So last sunday appearently was Talk like a pirate day. Didn´t matter for me really since I always sneak in pirate talk every day so I guess it evens out.

Well, not much else to say. It seems also that I do not have any plans for this weekend so I maybe able to pull out severel good hours finishing the assignments in Linear and Calculus without having to stay up all sunday night. Maybe the Java shit too. That would be awesome.

Well fuck did I have a crazy dream. It was like an episode of Dawn of the Dead or something. Fucking zombies sneaking up on people from all around. Funny thing was that I didn´t partake in it that much and it was a normal nightmare. I was stacked with so many knifes and various blades that I never was in any real danger. Weird.....

Anyway, nothing much going on. I was really tired today in Physics and Calculus. The teacher in Calculus had recently feasted on huge amounts of acid and was going hyper on our asses. Who was I to think that the Linear Algebra dude was high strung. Guess not.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCKITTY FUCK. IN EVERY FUCKING LANGUAGE. Thats the second time my computer decides to steal insane amount of hours away from me. Ok not perhaps the end of the world or some relative dying or anything like that but this just really fucking pisses me off.

Ok long story short....well basically its not that really a long story. I had this paladin in Diablo 2 alright. You still with me. And he was making all these math guys his bithces. In english he was fucking awesome. Rocked you might say. Well anyway, he was lvl 50 and I had this super cool item I wanted to trade with my barbarian without actually letting go of it. So I copied the save file which included the paladin and put it somewhere safe. Alrighty not perhaps the 'honest' of moves but whatever. So when I try to put the backup again into the Diablo folder he doesn´t revert to the old paladin with all the awesome items. Instead he comes back with 23 levels less than before and fuck knows. Most of the items gone and hours and hours spent wasted away. No matter what I did I could not get the original. I don´t fucking get this shit. I mean I have done this before and no problem. What the fuck was the matter. ARRRRRGGHHH.

Ok like I said only a computer game but I am still fucking pissed. Probably mostly to myself because I could have seen this coming or something. My fault anyway by starting this whole crap.

Well school rocks. Calculus and physics are really interesting. Somebody will kill for this statement but I don´t care.

Yay for drunken engineering students. Holy crap, friday was fun. Yesterday was just bleh so I wont even bother to mention it. So anyway on friday there was this trip to a company like usual on friday in the Engineering score. It was a whole lot of fun which it normally is when there is free alcohol being consumed.

The visit there was about an hour and a half so we didn´t have too much time to drink up but that was ok since next stop was a little skiing place. There was free beer there too and whole heaps of it. we barbecued burgers and chilled there. It was excellent since I got introduced to more of the other people that are with me in classes. And got to know those I already met considerably better. Around midnight we headed into town again and into this disco that every member of the engineering score goes to. It was heaps of fun and I danced my feet off. Along with getting two shots of russian cocaine. Which will make extremely hyper. I kid thee not.

Yes. I am beat...

This weekend is known in infamy in Iceland as the hardest party weekend of the entire year. Crazy people wander out of town and get mad drunk somewhere else for a change. I finally joined in this year because last year was so freaking boring I almost died.

This weekend was excellent. First of all I did something else instead of the same old same old. It was also really cool to go away with everybody this weekend.

Almost everyone I know went to the Vestmannaeyjar whereas I headed north into Akureyri. It was kind of cool not meeting everybody I know but also rather boring not seeing the people I usually hang out with. At the end of the weekend I wasn´t really bothered by that since I was having too much fun. I did NOT have to stay in a freaking tent. That rocked more than everything.

Now I´m basically bored out og my skull not wanting to be here at work. The weekend was not one to rest and relax before the coming week and by all accounts the next one won´t be either. Seems that my cousin has decided that she is going to throw a party to celebrate that she got a new apartment. So that probably means another weekend of drinking. And I was about to go get another tattoo on saturday. I cannot be hungover when I go there. Ahh I love torturing my parents with stuff they hate. *snicker, snicker*

After that though, and I don´t even know if I will be drinking then, I am finished for the rest of the year. My quota is done. I´m maxed out, beat, tired and besides I have university to think of so...

Yes thats right. I am starting computer and electric engineering. Man that sounds so fancy I can´t even believe it. Well lets just hope I will be disicplined enough to actually make something of this. If there is a will there is a way.
